Qatar emir, UK prime minister discuss Gaza and regional issues by phone

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call on Thursday from UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed the strategic cooperation between Qatar and the United Kingdom and discussed ways to strengthen and develop ties across various fields.

The call also covered the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, as well as a number of other regional issues of mutual interest.
