Iran's Araqchi accuses US of intelligence failures over Iran policy

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has accused the United States of misjudging the situation due to what he described as "intelligence failures."

Writing on X, Araqchi said, "The United States has long miscalculated because of failed intelligence."

He pointed to the conflict with Iran and US assessments in the Strait of Hormuz as examples.

Araqchi added, "Worse than fake news is fake intelligence. Be careful."
