Aden scholars' association member urges Houthi recruits to lay down arms, return home

Jamal Al-Saqqaf, a member of the Association of Scholars and Preachers of Aden, has called on those misled into joining the Houthi militia to return home and lay down their arms.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Saqqaf said this noble call is rooted in religious teachings, encouraging those deceived to regain their senses and return to Yemen, rather than remain with those who seek their destruction.

He added that making mistakes is not shameful, but persisting in them is. He assured that those who surrender their weapons and leave the misguided Houthi group will be safe.

Al-Saqqaf also noted that the Yemeni national army and resistance fighters have treated prisoners with compassion and kindness, recognizing that they were misled.
