US vice president Vance: Talks with Iran complex and will take time

US Vice President J.D. Vance said on Wednesday that negotiations to reach an agreement with Iran will be "complex" and take time, adding that "Iranians are extremely difficult to deal with" and that they have a "divided system."

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, he said: "Our job is to handle this and achieve the best outcome for the American people, as well as for the President of the United States."

He added: "I believe that what we will ultimately achieve, although it will be complicated and take some time, is that oil prices—which I think reached $79 today—will fall and remain low. Iran will never possess a nuclear weapon, and the United States will be in a stronger position."
