Yemeni forces shoot down Houthi drones over Taiz and western coast

Yemeni government forces have announced that their air defenses shot down several Houthi drones over Taiz and the western coast, according to Al-Hadath.

Earlier, the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council had emphasized maintaining maximum military and intelligence readiness.

During a joint meeting with the government to discuss recent developments and deterrence measures, the council called for intensified efforts to combat smuggling and to tighten control over land, sea, and air entry points.
