Iran warns it will use 'all means' against any US or Israeli attack

Iran has threatened to use all available means in response to any attack by the United States or the Israeli military.

In a statement, the Iranian foreign ministry said: "We will use all means for the legitimate defense of our rights and national security against aggression by the United States and Israel," adding that the ongoing maritime blockade, threats, and attacks on civilian infrastructure are "clear examples of aggression and violations of the United Nations Charter."

The ministry, as reported by Asharq, further condemned what it described as "American aggression," while emphasizing the importance of maintaining "friendly relations" with neighboring countries and continuing to defend its independence and sovereignty.

According to the foreign ministry statement, Tehran claimed that "the pretext of American ships passing through the region is merely a cover for military operations aimed at destabilizing the region and pressuring Iran."

The Wall Street Journal reported that the confrontation between the United States and Iran is entering a new phase of escalation, with a new round of US strikes against Iran expected as soon as Sunday, as Washington considers targeting energy and infrastructure facilities.
