Yemeni official: Country shifts from Houthi containment to state restoration

Yemen has transitioned from a phase of comprehensive deterrence and containing Houthi escalation to restoring state authority and launching the battle to eliminate the militia, Deputy Minister of Information Fayadh Al-Numan said.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Hadath, Al-Numan added that restoring the state involves rebuilding institutions and asserting sovereignty over Yemeni territory up to Sana'a, noting that these goals are supported by unified political and military decision-making.

He further stated that Yemen’s armed forces and security agencies are fully prepared, having demonstrated their readiness on all fronts. He also highlighted the mobilization of national, popular, and political resources in support of this campaign, which has diplomatic, political, media, and economic dimensions.
