Netanyahu suspends Flydubai flights pending investigation

Israeli daily Maariv reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved the suspension of Flydubai flights to Israel until investigations into today’s incident are concluded.

This decision follows Netanyahu’s directive to tighten security measures on all airlines operating flights to Israel.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that, according to initial information, the attacker intended to destroy the aircraft and everyone on board, describing the serious incident as an attempted attack that was thwarted by passengers.
