Kremlin warns of possible nuclear response if NATO blockades Kaliningrad

The Kremlin has threatened to take nuclear measures if the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) imposes a blockade on Russia’s Kaliningrad region, warning that such an action would be met with a strong response.

The warning follows a similar statement issued a day earlier by the Russian Embassy in London, which asserted that any attempt to isolate the region would prompt a harsh response from Moscow.

Meanwhile, British media reports have suggested that NATO may consider encircling or blockading Kaliningrad, amid rising tensions between Russia and alliance members.
