Iran to release footage of reclusive Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

Iran's judiciary-affiliated Mizan news agency reported, citing Basij deputy commander Qasem Qureshi, that video footage and other documents showing Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in public places and during meetings with armed forces leaders will be released at a later time.

The agency noted that the reclusive Khamenei has not appeared in public since being appointed as Iran's Supreme Leader.

According to the Supreme Leader's official website, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian recently met with Khamenei again.

The website added that the president and the Supreme Leader discussed a range of military and economic issues, following the Supreme Leader's first video appearance in five months after heightened security measures had prevented Khamenei from being seen.

This was not the only recent meeting; the president also met with the Supreme Leader days earlier inside a car at an undisclosed location, where they spoke without shaking hands or seeing the Supreme Leader's face.
