Yemeni official: International efforts and political solutions have failed to contain Houthis

Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Information Najib Ghallab said that international efforts and political solution tracks have failed to contain the Houthis.

Ghallab added, during an interview broadcast on Al-Hadath channel, that the Houthi coup militias have exploited these tracks to strengthen their power and expand their threats.

Meanwhile, Abdulhafiz Al-Nahari, a leader in Yemen’s General People’s Congress party, said that Iran’s fingerprints are evident in Houthi attacks through the types of weapons, tactics, and planning used. He added that the Houthi militia took advantage of the previous truce since 2022 to rebuild their strength with Iranian support.
