Israeli defense minister says military will act as required on Iran

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the military will carry out any orders given regarding Iran.

His remarks come as Israel prepares to announce the results of elections in which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition sought to regain its footing against the opposition.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump suggested the possibility of launching a strike against Iran in coordination with the Israeli military after the elections.
