Israeli forces continue raids and arrests across West Bank towns

Israeli forces continued their operations in towns and areas across the West Bank on Monday, launching a series of raids that resulted in the arrest of 24 Palestinians from Nablus province.

According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), Israeli troops stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, the New and Old Askar refugee camps, the Balad area to the east, as well as the towns of Tell southwest of Nablus, Huwwara, Urif, Kafr Qalil, Asira ash-Shamaliya to the north, and Salem to the east. Forces raided and searched numerous homes, reportedly ransacking their contents.

Israeli forces also tightened security measures at military checkpoints surrounding Nablus province.

These developments come amid a surge in daily raids and attacks by Israeli forces and settlers on cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. The operations often involve home invasions, confrontations, arrests, and the use of live and rubber bullets as well as tear gas, in addition to damage to private property.
