Russia says European arms factories supplying Ukraine are legitimate targets

Russia's Foreign Ministry has stated that European arms factories producing weapons for Ukraine are legitimate military targets for Moscow.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that its armed forces had targeted a communications center in Kyiv and facilities within the power grid supporting Ukraine's military industry overnight.

In a statement carried by the Russian news agency Sputnik, the ministry said Russian forces launched an airstrike that damaged infrastructure at the port of Izmail. Drone attacks also targeted port and transport infrastructure, as well as logistics and communications centers used by the Ukrainian armed forces.
