Yemeni army targets Houthi fighters and vehicles in Marib with drones

The Yemeni army announced on Monday evening that it had targeted Houthi militants and their vehicles in Marib province, central Yemen, using drones.

According to a statement from the Yemeni army's media center posted on X, the drone strikes hit "Houthi militia fighters and vehicles on frontlines northwest of Marib."

The media center also released a video, claiming it showed the operation and the destruction of military vehicles.

Yemen has experienced a relative calm since April 2022 in a conflict that began nearly 12 years ago between government forces and the Houthi group, which has controlled several provinces and cities, including the capital Sanaa, since September 21, 2014.
