King Salman Humanitarian Center continues economic empowerment project in Gaza

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has continued implementing its economic empowerment project for the most vulnerable groups and people with disabilities in the Gaza Strip.

Trainees have made significant progress in acquiring practical skills, with training tracks including tailoring, men's barbering, women's beauty, accessory and handicraft making, translation, and freelance work. The program also offers life skills training, helping participants move from learning to practical application and production.

Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, for the support and empowerment provided. They noted that the project has developed their skills, opened new opportunities for work and production, and enabled them to face difficult economic conditions by turning their skills into real opportunities to improve their livelihoods and support their families.

The project aims to train more than 1,000 individuals through specialized training programs lasting around 130 hours, across eight professional and digital tracks. Upon completion, beneficiaries will receive a diploma certificate and a specialized professional toolkit to help them enter the job market.

This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support the most vulnerable groups in Gaza and strengthen their ability to face economic and humanitarian challenges through empowerment, training, and capacity-building programs.
