Russia temporarily suspends flights at Moscow airports for safety

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency on Tuesday imposed temporary flight restrictions at Zhukovsky International Airport and several local airports in Moscow as a precaution to ensure air traffic safety and manage flight operations.

In an official statement, the agency said the restrictions include a temporary suspension of takeoffs and landings at these airports until further notice.

The agency confirmed that the measures will remain in effect until the reasons for their implementation are resolved and air traffic can safely resume.
