Algerian president announces partial cabinet reshuffle

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune carried out a partial cabinet reshuffle today, affecting several ministerial posts.

Under the changes, Mohamed Lamine Lebbou was appointed Minister of Finance, replacing Abdelkrim Boualzard; Mohamed Hattab became Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, succeeding Abdelhak Saihi; and Sid Ali Khaldi was named Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, taking over from Walid Yassine Mahdi.

Mohamed Bouslimani was also appointed Minister of Communication, replacing Zohir Bouamama.
