Houthi militia shelling kills three children in Taiz village

Three children were killed today when Iran-backed Houthi militants shelled Al-Tarira village in Al-Dhareefa sub-district in Al-Wazi'iyah district, in western Taiz province, local sources told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA).

The sources said the attack claimed the lives of Nour Al-Din Yaqub Abdu Al-Dharafi, aged 4, Asawar Fahd Mohammed Ghanem Al-Dharafi, aged 14, and Tala Mohammed Ahmed Al-Dharafi, aged 2.

The children were in the village at the time of the shelling, according to the sources, who added that the incident is part of ongoing violations by Houthi militants against civilians, especially children, in residential areas of Taiz province.
