Trump hosts Lebanese president at White House for talks on regional, global issues

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday welcomed Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to the White House in Washington, D.C.

During their meeting, the two leaders discussed a range of regional and international issues, as well as bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields.

President Trump affirmed that the United States would provide significant support to Lebanon, expressing confidence that several outstanding issues could be resolved.

For his part, President Aoun said it was time for Lebanon to enjoy security and stability, emphasizing that his country's vision for regional stability aligns with that of the US president.
