Two injured, ambulance team targeted in Israeli drone strike on Nabatieh

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced on Monday that two people were injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a vehicle in the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, the ministry said an ambulance was also damaged in the attack, describing the targeting of the ambulance as a violation of international law.

Lebanese media reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car traveling on the road between Nabatieh and the town of Kfar Remen, prompting ambulance and civil defense teams to rush to the scene.

It is worth noting that last Thursday saw the third and final meeting of the seventh round of Lebanese-Israeli talks in Rome, following five previous rounds held in Washington under US sponsorship.

These talks come as Israeli military operations in Lebanon have continued since March 2, despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on April 16.
