Russian military strikes Ukrainian facilities at Odesa and Yuzhny ports

Russia's Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its armed forces continued to carry out strikes against port infrastructure and naval vessels used by the Ukrainian military.

In a statement carried by Sputnik, the ministry said: "Over the past day, a fuel and lubricant storage facility intended for the Ukrainian armed forces at the port of Odesa was targeted using precision-guided airborne weapons and attack drones."

The ministry confirmed it is targeting infrastructure used by the Ukrainian military in order to reduce the military and economic capabilities of Kyiv's forces.

Since last July, the Russian military has been striking Ukrainian vessels and storage facilities at ports used by the Ukrainian armed forces on a daily basis.
