Libyan prime minister vows response to drone attacks on oil facilities

Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah said that drone attacks targeting oil and industrial facilities are a serious crime and an escalation that will not go unanswered.

Dbeibah stressed that these attacks endanger the lives of Libyan citizens and workers, and target vital sites linked to Libya’s security, economy, and national resources.

He added that the use of drones to strike critical infrastructure is not an isolated incident, but a deliberate and dangerous act that requires a firm response to protect the state, its institutions, and to prevent such attacks from recurring.

According to the prime minister, relevant authorities have launched investigations to determine the origin of the drones used in the attacks and to identify all those involved in planning, executing, and participating in them.
