Russia strikes military targets in Kyiv, hits Ukrainian fuel tanker in Chornomorsk

Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces launched a large-scale strike early today on Ukraine’s military-industrial complex, targeting facilities in Kyiv and its region, as well as Ukrainian military assets in the Black Sea.

In a statement carried by Sputnik, the ministry said: "Last night, Russian armed forces carried out a massive strike with long-range precision weapons from sea, air, and land, along with long-range attack drones, targeting facilities belonging to Ukraine’s military-industrial complex used for producing and storing drones and cruise missiles."

The ministry added that its forces targeted sites designated for unloading military cargo for Ukrainian forces at the port of Chornomorsk in Odesa region.

According to the statement, "a sea vessel, specifically a tanker carrying fuel and lubricants for Ukrainian forces, was targeted."
