Heavy clashes erupt between Yemeni government forces and Houthis on western coast

Yemeni government forces announced today the outbreak of heavy clashes with Houthi militants across various fronts on the western coast.

The forces stated that their air defenses had shot down several drones launched by the Houthis in different areas of Taiz province and the western coast.

Sources added that Houthi militants fired ten ballistic missiles at the cities of Taiz and Hodeidah, escalating tensions in the targeted areas.
