Trump says US has 'unlimited' ammunition as CENTCOM reports Iran's military weakened

US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States possesses nearly unlimited quantities of medium- and high-quality ammunition, affirming full readiness for any war that could break out at any moment. His remarks came as US Central Command revealed a significant decline in Iran’s military capabilities due to ongoing strikes.

In a post on his Truth Social account on Thursday, Trump denied media reports about a military operation in Iran, stating that current ammunition stockpiles far exceed what could be used in the current conflict or any other unlikely emergency.

Trump added that the US is producing ammunition at unprecedented levels and is stockpiling it domestically rather than selling it abroad, announcing plans to resume ammunition sales to allies soon.

Meanwhile, US Central Command spokesperson Timothy Hawkins warned that military strikes against Iran would continue as long as threats persist, noting that Tehran’s military capabilities have suffered a severe setback.

Trump also criticized the financial and military support provided by former President Joe Biden’s administration to Ukraine and NATO, explaining that Kyiv received ammunition free of charge and in quantities far greater than those used in operations against Iran.

The US president added that hundreds of billions of dollars were given freely, arguing that European partners should have paid for them if requested, and vowed to demand repayment even if the move comes late.
