Putin highlights critical importance of securing energy logistics

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that securing logistics routes in the energy sector is of utmost importance.

In a message published today on the official Kremlin website and addressed to participants in the Russian Energy Week forum, Putin added: "In today's world, expanding international dialogue and cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, including ensuring the safety of logistics routes, is especially important."

According to Russia's Sputnik news agency, Putin expressed confidence that the Russian Energy Week program would allow for an analysis of the energy industry's development, and that the proposals and initiatives presented would be put into practical use.

In a separate development, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday that "the Kyiv regime is deliberately targeting oil tankers in an attempt to destabilize international energy and food markets."
