Yemeni government: Air force strikes Houthi positions in Hays front west of Taiz

Yemen's government forces have announced that the air force has entered the battle, launching its first strikes on Houthi militia positions in the Hays front, west of Taiz.

Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi said, according to Al Arabiya, that Yemen will not allow Iran's regime to achieve its goal of controlling the Bab Al-Mandab Strait.

Al-Alimi added that the Houthi militia bears responsibility for the humanitarian consequences of the escalation and violations.
