US defense secretary visits Israel, holds talks with Netanyahu

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed on Tuesday that he visited American forces in Israel, noting that he would not reveal details of a private conversation he held with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Hegseth told reporters, "I was there to visit our troops, and I had the opportunity to speak with the Prime Minister... Of course, I will not discuss the nature of our conversation, but they have been good partners, and I appreciate that."
