Wildfires force evacuation of 300 in eastern Netherlands

A major wildfire broke out yesterday in the De Roosmolen nature reserve in eastern Netherlands, prompting the evacuation of about 300 people from a campsite.

Dutch emergency services deployed firefighting teams to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading. Train services between Nijmegen and Venray were suspended, and the Dutch military used a helicopter to assist with firefighting operations.
