Israeli authorities accused of stalling on Gaza agreement implementation

Israeli affairs expert Khalil Abu Karsh said that Israeli authorities are deliberately stalling on implementing even the minimum requirements of the Gaza agreement.

Speaking to Al Arabiya FM, Abu Karsh added that no significant developments have occurred on the ground, noting that Israel has halted targeted assassinations while its government has agreed to the entry of international forces.

He explained that the Peace Council has one vision for action on the ground and another that is mainly for domestic Israeli audiences, emphasizing that Israel continues to delay implementation as much as possible without provoking a confrontation with the administration of US President Donald Trump.

The Gaza Peace Council has worked on the roadmap to complete the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which includes the full withdrawal of Israeli forces, ending military operations by Hamas and other Palestinian factions, shifting governance to Palestinian authorities, and beginning Gaza's reconstruction.
