The death toll from airstrikes carried out by the Jordanian Air Force on several sites in Syria’s Daraa province has risen to seven, with three others injured.

According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, Daraa Health Director Dr. Khaled Al-Amian said the airstrikes targeted locations in Al-Taf in the Al-Masmiyah area, as well as the outskirts of the towns of Naseeb and Al-Muzayrib in rural Daraa. He reported that the victims included three children, a woman, and three men—one of whom was elderly—while the wounded were two men and a child.

The health director added that relevant authorities are continuing to monitor the details of the airstrikes, including the final tally of casualties and injuries.

The Syrian government said in a statement that authorities are closely following developments in southern Syria after the airstrikes conducted by the Jordanian Air Force on Monday, which resulted in civilian casualties, including children.

According to the statement, the Syrian government noted that there was no prior coordination with the Syrian side regarding this military operation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed it has formally notified the Jordanian side of its complete objection to conducting operations inside Syrian territory without prior coordination.
