Ramaj Al-Jabri, director of the Yemeni Media Monitor, said the attack on Taif province is a continuation of Houthi terrorism that serves Iranian interests.

Speaking to Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Jabri explained that the Houthis use religion as a cover, but in reality, they practice the opposite—terrorism, killing, and abuse.

Earlier on Thursday, Saudi Civil Defense announced the death of a Yemeni resident and injuries to a Saudi woman and a Pakistani resident after debris from a drone launched by the Houthis fell following its interception and destruction in Taif province.

The Civil Defense spokesperson said the debris caused the death of the Yemeni resident, while the Saudi woman and Pakistani resident were injured, noting that the latter remains in critical condition.

He added that the incident also resulted in material damage to several buildings and vehicles, and that relevant authorities have begun standard procedures for such cases.
