The UKMTO confirmed it had received a report of an incident between an oil tanker and military forces in the Gulf of Oman, near the Pakistani port city of Gwadar.

In a post on X, the organization advised vessels transiting the area to stay updated on maritime security information and to maintain a high level of vigilance amid ongoing developments.

Authorities are aware of the incident and investigations are underway, UKMTO said, without providing further details on the nature of the event or possible damage.
