US Senator Rubio: Iran in major crisis, Trump has many options

US Senator Marco Rubio stressed on Wednesday that Iran is facing a major crisis, confirming that President Donald Trump has many options if Tehran does not cooperate.

Rubio made the remarks to reporters after his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Manila, which lasted about 90 minutes.

He added that Iran has not fulfilled its commitments under the memorandum of understanding, explaining that "keeping the Strait of Hormuz open was a key provision of the memorandum, but Iran has violated it."
