Iran firm on self-defense, committed to diplomacy, says Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that "Iran is firm in defending itself and serious about diplomacy to protect its national interests."

In remarks carried by Fars News Agency, Araghchi added that "the country has presented its conditions and observations in a precise proposal to mediators, making it clear to all that Iran, while steadfast and resolute in self-defense, is equally committed to using diplomacy to secure its interests and national security."

The foreign minister continued, "Our delegation has outlined our country's conditions, drawing on the epic resilience and resistance of the Iranian people in the face of aggression."
