Yemeni coordination committee mobilizes support to frontlines

The Yemeni Supervisory and Coordination Committee for Supporting the Frontlines has begun coordinating, mobilizing, and monitoring efforts to ensure aid reaches the frontlines.

The committee held its inaugural meeting in Aden, aiming to unify the efforts of the state and society to bolster the frontlines in the fight against Houthi militias.

According to the Saba news agency, the committee is working to strengthen mechanisms for supporting the frontlines and backing the armed forces and resistance. It has directed ministers and governors to raise their readiness to support various frontlines and provide relief to displaced persons.

The committee approved coordination of efforts to send food and medical convoys to the frontlines, and emphasized uniting the efforts of local authorities, the private sector, and community groups to support the frontlines.

During the meeting, Presidential Leadership Council member Salem Al-Khanbashi, speaking via video call, conveyed greetings from Council President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and other council members. He stressed the importance of supporting the frontlines as a national and religious duty.

Al-Khanbashi instructed ministers and governors to increase their readiness and fulfill their national duty in supporting the frontlines and assisting displaced persons. He added that intensive meetings will be held in the coming days, in line with the directives of the Council President, to coordinate efforts for positive outcomes in the ongoing national battle.
