Russian military targets Ukrainian ports and defense industry sites

Russia's Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that its military targeted Ukrainian defense industry facilities, ports, and naval vessels belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces.

In a statement carried by Sputnik, the ministry said, "Last night, Russian armed forces carried out drone strikes on Ukrainian military industry sites and ports, as well as naval vessels of the Ukrainian armed forces."

The statement added: "A military industry facility, the Kyiv Automobile Transport Company, which manufactures specialized vehicles for the Ukrainian armed forces in Kyiv, was targeted."

The ministry also noted that "in Odesa region, at the port of Chornomorsk, a cargo ship loading military supplies was targeted."
