Egyptian, Russian foreign ministers discuss regional developments in Manila

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Badr Abdelatty met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today on the sidelines of the ASEAN ministerial meeting held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

According to a statement from Egypt’s foreign ministry, the talks covered bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation across all fields. The ministers also reviewed regional developments and ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and contain unrest in the region.
