Qatar and Kuwait reject Iranian claims on pilots and Revolutionary Guard

Qatar and Kuwait have rejected new Iranian accusations regarding the detention of three Iranian pilots in Doha and the investigation of four Revolutionary Guard members in Kuwait, describing the Iranian statements as an attempt at political escalation.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated it has not detained any Iranian pilots, labeling the Iranian claims as "misleading," especially amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to ease regional tensions.

Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari explained that the pilots had violated Qatari airspace and failed to respond to communications, prompting defensive measures in accordance with international law.

Al-Ansari added that Qatari search and rescue teams fulfilled their duties in searching for the pilots' remains. Qatar coordinated with Iran to hand over the remains of one pilot and invited an Iranian team to review the search operations last April, but has yet to receive a response.

Kuwait, for its part, denied Iranian allegations of withholding information about four detained Revolutionary Guard members, stressing that the case remains under judicial investigation.

Kuwait's Ministry of Defense had arrested four Iranians on May 13 who allegedly attempted to enter the country by sea to carry out hostile acts.
