Omani navy evacuates 25 crew from Panamanian ship after attack

The Royal Navy of Oman, in cooperation with the Maritime Security Center, evacuated 25 crew members from the commercial vessel RITI, which is registered under the flag of Panama.

The Omani Maritime Security Center announced on its official X account that the evacuation followed an attack on the ship, which caused a fire on board. The incident occurred 1.6 nautical miles off the coast of Musandam governorate, and the crew received necessary medical care.
