Trump says Iran conflict unlikely to last much longer

US President Donald Trump said Iran had been attempting to build a missile capable of deploying mines, but that the US had destroyed it. He added that he does not believe the conflict over Iran will continue for much longer.

Trump also stated that the US is prepared to launch another attack at any time, and that any new military campaign against Iran would not take long.

He went on to accuse the Iranian regime of shooting protesters in the eyes and said that more than 56,000 demonstrators had been killed in recent months. Trump added: "I raised the issue of price increases with oil company officials."
