Israeli army shells southern Quneitra countryside in Syria

Israeli forces shelled the outskirts of Al-Rafid in the southern countryside of Quneitra, Syria, on Sunday, firing several artillery rounds.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, four artillery shells landed in farmland southeast of Al-Rafid, with no reports of casualties.

The incident followed an earlier attack just hours before, when Israeli forces targeted the forested area near the village of Beer Ajam in northern Quneitra with three artillery shells, also without causing injuries.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 disengagement agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raiding civilian homes, making arrests, bulldozing land, and carrying out attacks with artillery and other means.
