Yemeni armed forces conduct hundreds of daily operations against Houthis: analyst

Political analyst Manaa Al-Mutairi said, "The Yemeni armed forces conduct hundreds of military operations against Houthi militias every day."

Speaking in a radio interview with Al Arabiya FM, Al-Mutairi added that "the balance of the battle has shifted significantly, and the large-scale Houthi offensives along the western coast are no longer taking place."

He continued, saying, "The Yemeni armed forces' strategy now focuses on targeting the heart of militia positions that are attempting to mobilize more fighters, but the Houthis have not achieved any new advances."

Al-Mutairi explained that "while the Houthis have managed to expand in the plains, they have struggled in the mountainous areas, which the armed forces are prioritizing to prevent any Houthi strongholds along the western coast overlooking Bab Al-Mandab."
