Yemeni forces shell Houthi positions on west coast after attacks

Yemeni forces announced on Tuesday that they had carried out intensive artillery and rocket strikes against Houthi militia positions along the country’s west coast, in response to repeated attacks in the area.

Yemeni military sources said the Houthis had fired five missiles toward the Bab Al-Mandab area, prompting an immediate response from Yemeni forces targeting the source of the fire.

Yemeni forces affirmed their commitment to countering any attacks that threaten international shipping or key areas along the western coastline.
