Speaking in an interview with Al Arabiya FM, Elias said, "The current ceasefire is only temporary, and tomorrow, mutual strikes between Kyiv and Moscow are expected to resume. The US side has explored the possibility of restarting trilateral negotiations to manage the issue in the near future."
He added that "hopes for ending the war remain slim, as shown by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's request for an aid package for the coming winter, indicating he does not expect a rapid change as a result of the recent US envoys' visit."
The analyst continued, "Indicators show that the Ukrainian president is determined to hold a trilateral meeting including Putin to resolve territorial issues. European advisers participated in part of the meetings in Kyiv yesterday, while Moscow continues to reject such talks."
