Trump yet to decide on replacing defense secretary, US media reports

CBS News has reported that US President Donald Trump has not yet made a decision regarding the replacement of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The network added that Trump is consulting his advisers on whether he should dismiss Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, but did not specify the reasons behind Trump's consideration of this move.

This development comes as the Republican Party, Trump's party, faces significant upheaval following the midterm congressional elections, which were won by the Democrats.
