Details of clearance operations by governorate

In Mukalla district, Hadramout governorate, three anti-personnel mines and 1,568 unexploded munitions were cleared. The team in Midi district, Hajjah governorate, removed eight anti-personnel mines, 24 anti-tank mines, 57 unexploded munitions, and one explosive device.

The center noted that five explosive devices were cleared in Al-Wadi district, Marib governorate, and one anti-tank mine in Bayhan district, Shabwa governorate.

In Taiz governorate, the Masam team removed two anti-personnel mines and 12 unexploded munitions in Dhubab district, and five unexploded munitions in Al-Muzaffar district.

Rising number of cleared landmines

According to the center, the number of landmines cleared since the start of August has reached 9,280, while the total cleared since the launch of the Masam project now stands at 648,386.

Saudi Arabia continues its humanitarian efforts through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to clear landmines from Yemeni territory, aiming to enhance civilian safety and enable Yemenis to live securely.
