Yemeni airstrikes target Houthi positions in Dhale and Bayda; alert raised in Abyan

Yemeni armed forces have launched airstrikes targeting Houthi positions and gatherings in Dhale and Bayda provinces, according to Yemeni sources cited by Al Hadath TV.

The sources reported that Yemeni warplanes struck a Houthi site in the Al-Kawr mountains north of Dhale, and carried out three additional raids on Houthi gatherings in the Ghalima area of Bayda province.

Further sources told Al Hadath that airstrikes also targeted Houthi positions in the Mukayras area of Bayda, as well as other sites in Ghalima within the same province.

In Abyan province, Governor and Abyan Axis Commander Mukhtar Al-Rabash inspected frontlines today at Thura Mountain, the Halhal site, and the 255th Infantry Brigade to review the situation of stationed troops and assess their readiness at advanced positions.

Al-Rabash was accompanied by several military and security leaders during the visit, and listened to a briefing from Thura Front Commander Colonel Taha Hussein on recent field developments, ongoing military operations, and the combat readiness of forces stationed at these locations.

Al-Rabash affirmed that Abyan would remain at the forefront in defending the nation and state institutions, stressing that the national battle would continue until the Houthi militia is defeated, its coup ended, and all state institutions are restored.

The governor praised the fighting spirit of those stationed at the Thura front and other military and security sites, saying their sacrifices and heroism continue Abyan's proud national legacy in confronting coup and terrorist projects.

He emphasized the need to raise vigilance and readiness, strengthen coordination between military and security units, and maintain constant preparedness to confront any threats to the province's security and stability, as well as that of the country as a whole.

Al-Rabash added that security, stability, and development are interconnected, and that protecting and reinforcing state institutions remains a top priority. He reiterated that Abyan will continue to fulfill its national role and remain a pillar of support for the state and its institutions.
