Iranian president says US memorandum will boost national and regional security

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the memorandum of understanding signed with the United States reflects the collective wisdom of the negotiating team, stressing that all members agreed on its terms.

In a post on his official X account, Pezeshkian stated that the agreement will serve as a cornerstone of Iran’s foreign relations in the coming period.

He added that Tehran must work to ensure the other party upholds its commitments under the deal.

Pezeshkian noted that implementing the agreement will strengthen the security of Iran, the region, and its allies, describing it as a significant step in the country’s foreign relations.
